Hearing loss runs in my side of the family. My mom had BIG pocket size hearing aid a long time ago when hearing aids were just getting started. I’m 71 now and I thank the Good Lord for the hearing aids we have today – nice and small! You just “miss out”! Most people don’t understand what it is like to NOT hear until it happens to them. I pray that there will always be a hearing aid for me.

Never would I believe any hearing aid could work as well as these do! I have worn them in many different environments and by using the remote the results were great. Anyone needing hearing aids should give them a try. Visit the Hear Again Center for a good product and excellent service.

If you get her message and it’s a man, it’s my dad’s voice – it’s been five years that he’s gone, but just don’t have heart to let go of his voice recording; not yet. Anyway, I’m sure she’ll appreciate hearing from you and might just help keep her on her toes. I just can’t say enough that even though our meeting was brief – the bottom line, we were still meant to meet you and get us on the path of rebuilding our relationship because Lord knows we were at a crossroads. I’m ashamed to admit that I was ready to throw in the towel and say “it is, what it is” because after 5 years I was tired of fighting the issue with her and being the bad guy. If I hadn’t seen for my own eyes the change in her when she consistently wears them, I wouldn’t have been on this crusade to save her mental faculties. The past few weeks, it’s like I have my real mom back and not that lady that’s in the “dark place” as I call it. I see her mind working; thinking and connected. I’m going to be real anxious to see her test scores on her appointment in June at the clinical trial she’s been in for her memory. I don’t plan on telling them right up front about her new hearing aids – going to see first if they notice any change. If there is, I do plan on talking to the director of the trial at Brain Matters Research and just giving him my thoughts (as a caregiver) that hearing loss and dementia symptoms go hand in hand and it should be included as a part of their studies. Which also brings me to a question – prior to her testing, she has to undergo an MRI and I was wondering if it would be best if she removes her hearing aids?
Again Jennifer, you are the guardian angel that was sent to us. In my prayers I kept asking for someone to throw me a lifeline and they heard. I’m trying to stay positive that this is going to work and get her to accept these as a part of her every day life and not just part-time or when she knows she’s going to be with me. I’ve been on that cycle for so long that it’s still hard because I take the let down even harder. I told her this was our LAST ditch effort because I’ve run out options to keep her mentally sharp.
Thank you just doesn’t seem enough for what you do for people and their families. My mom and I will keep you and your family in our prayers.

This letter is a commendation for Kelly Betz, your Hearing Technician at the Orage Park Florida Office. After approximately nine years and numerous devices and was reluctant to try another device from Audibel.
Kelly Betz was convinced that the new Anthem Platinum would improve my hearing. he assured me that he would devote his time and effort in that endeavor. He was a man of his word. He scheduled many sessions during each week. After numerous adjustments it was obvious that my hearing was not improving. He recommended and fitted me with another device, again working diligently to enhance my hearing. It was extremely rare to find anyone this dedicated to devote his time and effort to accomodate a customer. Kelly Betz is definite asset to your company.

We had a phenomenal experience at your Merritt Square Mall location with Scott Asman, HAS and we wanted to take a moment to send a note about him. He was very patient, listening to our entire story about my husbands experiences with hearing aids and hearing aid providers. WE DIDN’T WANT TO BE “TAKEN” AGAIN. Scott was very kind, he looked at the aids we had spent over $4600 on and gave him all that had happened. Instead of pressuring us to buy his, he took a moment to see if he could “fix” the ones we had. he made a couple of calls and is going to try to since we had no success with the people that sold them to us.
The end of the story, for now, is that in a week or so, we will know. but if there is no way to fix them, we definitely will become customers of Scott and his product – and we definitely are already recommending him and the location to them. The receptionist (I think her name is Barbara) was outstanding also. she explained everything about the company, the product etc. and she even took the time to see what my insurance would cover. she was very pleasant and kind.
Too often, people only take the time to complain. We wanted to express a commendation for scott and barbara.
